New Ducks get feet wet at IntroDUCKtion
IntroDUCKtion, the University of Oregon's summer orientation program for new students and their families, has wrapped up another successful season.
More than 3,300 incoming freshmen and 650 transfer attended one of 10 two-day sessions on campus in July and August. At IntroDUCKtion, incoming students meet with academic advisers and register for fall classes, and sign up for Freshmen Interest Groups, or FIGs.
They also get a chance to get to find their way around campus and make new friends.
Parents attend a separate, concurrent program to help them learn about the campus community and resources for family members.
