A future fit for a queen
Hannah Rice, an 18-year-old singer and actress from Portland's Madison High School, was crowned Saturday as queen of the city's 2013 Rose Festival.
Rice plans to study theater at the UO and eventually pursue acting.
Rice, who caddies in the summer at Rose City Golf Course, will attend the UO this fall on a Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship.
She is one of eight students in the state to earn the scholarship.
