  •  Football interest: I am the mother of three boys (ages 12, 10, 4), who are wild Duck fans. It's contagious. Everything stops at our household on Game Day. But honestly, this is my first live game.
  •  Food served on Game Day: Always local, organic, homemade treats. Usually pumpkin cake and home-canned applesauce.

Wood is the faculty director of UO Law's Environmental and Natural Resource Law Program. She is a recipient of the university's Ersted Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Hollis Award for teaching excellence4. She has published a leading textbook on natural resources law and is currently finishing a book, "Nature's Trust: Environmental Law for a New Ecological Age." She has received national and international attention for her sovereign trust approach to global climate and environmental issues. She received her law degree from Stanford Law School.
