Ducks go mile high to play the Buffaloes
The No. 9 Oregon Ducks will try to extend their Pac-10/12 winning streak to 16 when they take on the unranked Colorado Buffaloes at 12:40 p.m. (PST) Saturday in Boulder.

The series: Colorado leads the all-time series, 8-7. The last three match-ups have happened in bowl games, most recently when the Ducks beat the Buffaloes, 38-16, in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl. Oregon last played in Boulder in 1987, when they beat the Buffs, 10-7 in the season opener.
The forecast: 63 degrees and partly cloudy at game time.
Colorado connections: A number of Oregon faculty and staff members have Colorado connections. David Conley, who directs the Center for Educational Policy Research at the UO, earned a master's and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.
Mark Horney, a senior research associate at the UO's Center for Advanced Technology in Education, has two master's degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University.
Geography professor W. Andrew Marcus earned his Ph.D. from CU.
And then there's Bill Musgrave, who graduated from Colorado's Grand Junction High School and was named Colorado High School Athlete of the Year in 1985. He went to become a four-year starter for Oregon, quarterbacking the Ducks to back-to-back bowl games for the first time.
